Small brown flys on newly planted Wisteria
By Debbie1976

Hello
I have recently planted a small Japanese Wisteria in a very sunny spot. It seems to be doing well - it looked like a twig when I planted it about one month ago but it has really taken off and there are shoots and leaves sprouting all over the place. The only problem seems to be some small brown and green flies, I am a complete beginner so have no clue what they are. Can anyone help and advise the best thing for me to do?
Thanks
Debbie

sounds like greenfly which come in a range of colours not just green. spray with soapy water and allow the birds to have a free feed.

Hi Debbie, if the wisteria is happy I wouldn't do anything - otherwise you could spray with soapy water.
