Citrus Sinensis.

I have the above tree in my conservatory, and all winter i have been battleing with scale insect, i am winning,by picking them off by hand, but the leaves are very sticky.
As it is raining today and the temp outside is aprox 8dec would it be safe to stand this outside.

P.S.it has fruit on that are turning orange,
ahy advice would be great. thanks

If you are in the cold & wet UK I would leave it indoors and clean the scale off there, and wipe the black off the leaves with a damp cloth. I put my 2 citrus out when it is 'better' weather, like less wind and above 10 or 12C.
