Hello fuschia growers, I have overwintered some quarter standard plants which I grew last year and have allowed one to flower fully now. It has been out now for 2 weeks and looks good. My concern is will it keep on flowering through the summer. Hope someone can help.
Thanks, Gil.

Fuchsias are usually very long blooming. Blooming time depends on situation. My hardy ones in the ground bloom later but further on into autumn. The ones in large pots......if they survive are variable. One small standard is already blooming with a small flower. The older ones have shoots about 8 inches long and will bloom through till frost protection time into November given usual TLC. My very large flowered Happy white wedding standard got munched by 2 big caterpillars under its fleecy jacket, but is showing new leaves. They are very different one from tother dependent on variety...all will bloom a long time if looked after well.

It may not bloom right through the summer but htink it will bloom for most of the summer.
