Could you please tell me why my hydrengeas look beautifully healthy but refuse to flower! Last year I cut them right back thinking that would do the trick but no such luck.
Appreciate any help.

Yes as Motinot says you cut away all the flowering buds. Just dead head in April in the future taking out any dead branches.

were you careful to only cut back the stems bearing the old flower heads phillips? otherwise you may have cut away the stems which would have borne this years flowers....because they look so healthy i dont know what else it could be.....
