we have a 3 year old Wysteria that has yet to flower - normal ??

You need to prune it properly, reducing any unwanted shoots in late summer and cutting back laterals to 5 or 6 buds. Tie in long shoots where you want them to go. Don't give up on it!

yes this is normal, if the plant was grown from seed it may not flower for up to 10 years, i have one that is yet to flower also, if it is bought as a young plant you could see flowers in the next year or so, they are very slow to bloom but are definately worth the wait i think, i hope this helps
