We have new decking and fencing. Due to the extra height of the decking we can see into next door a bit more than expected. We are looking for types of tree that would help to fill the gap and can be grown in pots. The space would be in the sun for most of the day. Probably a height of 6 ft.

Evergreen Jasmines would look nice on a wooden pyramid. They have white flowers and could add structure.

A lemon cypress tree (Cupressus macrocarpa Goldcrest or Wilma) is evergreen and grows well in a pot. Bamboo may be a better bet as a screen.
