Do you know what, I've no idea if you are further north than me in the UK than me (I'm in Worcs) and lots of people here would say no... but i'd say YAY!! go for it.
Just pop a few more in pots in the greenhouse as an insurance policy?, in case the worst happens.
We've planted some seeds directly in the ground last weekend, so I suppose it'll take them a little while longer to come through?
Good luck anyway with that. : ))

Harden off during the day but take in at night, especially if you live in the North of England or Scotland.

Mine have been out for about two weeks - we're in the Midlands. I've thrown some fleece over them a couple of times and they are now 12 inches high. I've pushed some runner bean seeds between the plants so that they will be slightly later.

thats a good idea fourseasons presumably they will still grow properly if they havent been planted at runnerbean planting time?
does this work with others too like peas carrots etc?

They can still be frosted at night and I would wait about two or more weeks. It will be the beginning of June for me. My local garden centre has a big sign warning that such plants still need protection.
