I have wanted this plant for quite a while, and sent for some autumn past, if i can remember correctly...I planted them in pots of acid soil with plenty of drainage and put them in a sheltered spot outside...nothing....then today i turned the pots out and what do you think?.........NOTHING.......WHY????

I reckon it may have been frost,.... we have had plenty of rain here this winter...some might say too much....I was reading up on trifolium this evening and it said they like to be kept on the drier side.....some of my pot plants have suffered the dreaded vine weevil...i found grubs yesterday in my over wintered dahlias, but no evidence here....thanks seaburngirl.....

they may have died due to lack of water, frosts or the roots might have been eaten by vine weevil grubs.
its just not fair is it? :o(
