Iris??? How tall is it?

Iris siberica?

By the look of the leaves it could be dutch iris. depending on the height aswel.

i'd go for dutch iris too.

It will be a named cultivar Dutch iris.

Its only about 12 - 15 inches tall leaves looked like chives all winter then sent up these flower spikes that look like an iris, but still with just the very thin untidy leaves. Have been trying to send another photo but cant get it to upload

Yep, that sounds like a Dutch iris. Mine have got to that stage as well
