Hi ther, I stay in scotland and have bought 2 pheonix canariensis which are in pots,,but they come without care instructions. How often should they be watered and should I wrap them and put inside through the winter. Any advice and additional tips would be great, thanks.

They will need moving somewhere frost free for winter, so best kept in pots for that purpose. Water when the surface of the compost is dry to the touch, but not shrunken and shrivelled away from the pot. If they're in full sun and its hot, that might mean daily - cooler weather, might mean weekly.
