what are 'heliotrope' plants and how big do they grow ? How should I plant - I have been given ten
so they must be big plants but I am unsure as to where to put them and how big they grow

Heliotrope plants are one of the traditional summer bedding plants. They are a half hardy annual and will be killed off by the first frosts in autumn.
They will grow to about 14" tall and the leaves tend to be dark. They produce lots of small, dark purple flowers which are highly scented.
Grow them with red salvias, yellow marigolds and silver leaved "silver dust" for maximum effect.
Well worth the effort, they like lots of sun and lots of water during the summer.
