Does wisteria damage brickwork

I have just purchased a 3 year old wisteria sinesis and would like to plant it at the front of the house. Just wondering if it can cause any damage to the brickwork????

Thanks for your help! I can now plant at front of house and stop my huband moaning that it will eat into the mortar lol! Thanks for your welcomes too
