I've got a few and I over winter them in my cold greenhouse. Planted where they get maximum sun is best. Dig them up at the end of the season.

I bought a couple recentlywith instructions. It says: Plant April to May in a warm sheltered position.
Light sandy soil with a little compost/bonemeal
Best grown in pots and kept moderately dry until sprouts are showing. gradually increase watering. Light application of fertiliser. When flowers fade and stems decay decrease water to induce ripening for next year. Store at 13-16 degC
Plant at 4inches/10cm depth, 60cm apart(if in ground)
I plant two or three in a large pot.Hope this helps!
