You dig bits up, stick them in 2 litre pots and sell them for £7.99 a pot like my local garden centre does.

Digging it up is the only real solution, Colette. You probably need to take it to the local dump/Recycling Center but I have a small plant stall at the roadside and would be doing as Andy suggests - except that it would be £1 or £1.50 per pot.
