I can only think that you mean Erigeron, sometimes called Erigeron acer (although that is not its latin name, but for some reason it appears to be known as that by some people), common name blue fleabane. There isn't a true blue one among the varieties though, they're more lilac. It's a commonly available garden perennial plant.
