You're welcome, hun.
Let us know how you get on.

Be careful how hard you firm the growing medium around the cuttings - be very gentle. Fuchsia cuttings *really* don't like 'hard' compost!

Soft tip, if you're lucky and they grow well, this year,
If they do flower though, it will be later in the season so you probably won't get a big or long display from them.

Good, I'd like to know.

I've just taken some cuttings myself. :o)
Use a very sharp knife to make a clean cut and choose a nice strong stem. Cut so cutting is an inch or two long. No need to cut just under a leaf bud with soft tip cuttings, but you can if you want.
You should use proper seed compost and you need rooting powder. Remove bottom leaves from cuttings, dip in rooting powder and insert straight into the pot. Water gently and then cover with a plastic bag that doesn't touch the cuttings (or use a propagator). I made some little wire cages for mine to support the bags.
Don't let them dry out or get cold and hopefully they'll root in a week to 10 days. They mustn't have direct sun either, so if in green house, stick a sheet of newspaper on the window behind them.
You can also take cuttings in Autumn when the stems are more woody. Pull away from the plant at a leaf junction making sure you get a bit of a heel. 4 to 6 inches long for each cutting. Remove leaves and use rooting powder the same and cover with bag. Bag must be removed after about 2 weeks though even if cuttings haven't rooted.
Good luck, hun.
