I have a Sennetti plant which I keep outside in a pot, recently i have noticed the leaves are turning brown and have holes in them. I read that this could be due to poor water drainage, and ideas?

I should imagine your plant has about finished flowering ?
If so trim all the leaves and old flower stems and give a good feed (tomato food), they like the warmth so I am not suprised with all this weather we are having they are not happy (rain wind and cold) used to be grown as a indoor plant but new plant introductions they are only slightly more hardy , its main use is to flower before all the rest of the bedding plants are starting to bloom which it does realy well amazing colours
