Worried about my recent purchases!!

Shropshire, United Kingdom

I wonder if anybody can offer there experience and advice.

I have recently spent a considerable amount of money (for me) on a range of plants to create a hot coloured late flowering border in a sunny site with partial shade in the morning. I purchased from gardeningexpress.co.uk.

Bought a range of plants in early April and planted them out by mid-April. I am quite concerned about the following:

Euphorbia Fireglow x2 - both arrived cut back to the base (woody stubs). Planted out - been in the ground about 3 weeks - but still no signs of any new growth. Both were well rooted when I planted out - but why no new growth? Have I been sent two dead plants?

I have the same concerns about the following plants from the same order:

Crocosmia Lucifer x3 - arrived with coya mats on top with no signs of life. Again, no new growth since planting out. Shouldn't they be coming up by now at this stage of the season?

Lychnis Vesuvius x2 - alive - but small and not putting any new growth.

Echinacea purpurea - alive - (but one looks like a sapling) - both not putting on any new growth.

Do I contact gardeningexpress?

Any advice appreciated.

Regards,

Gary

Tell them ASAP - they will either refund you or send replacements. Good luck.

I ordered some plants from Crocus and one of them didn't put on any growth and wilted, I emailed them and they offered to send a replacement or refund straight away. I hope that gardeningexpress are this good, you could maybe take photos to email them incase they want to see the plants. Good luck
