Yellow rose. Continued...
Here is a better picture showing the pale yellow it fades to with age.

And another pic showing the whole shrub.

Added bonus of the pink of (I think) 'Queen Elizabeth', poking out from behind.

This looks perfectly normal to me, the bud starts of looking much darker than the final open rose - nothing 'faded' about it.

This is a lovely yellow rose, I have an orange rose bed and most if not all of the buds are much darker than the fully open flowers.

Is this the one that we thought may be 'Peace' if so it lacks the soft pink edges to the petals that my fathers had, but it is lovely similar to my 'golden showers', itlooks in very good condition from the photo....

It's the one I thought was 'All gold' ... I still think it is.

If you go to my photo page ... click on the tag for roses .... and you will see 2 photos of it ... you can compare them ...

Ever since I saw your question 'Yellow rose' I've been unable to stop the lyrics to the yellow rose of texas running on a loop in my head - thanks (not) Fractal...
