When can you move a mature clementis at the latest?

Its a mature clementis, i wanna move to another part of my garden, iv trimmed it right down, and its beginning to grow. Can it be moved now, if not, what month? Thank you.

Don't move it now it's growing.
If it's a summer flowering one and therefore pruned when flowering has finished, you may get away with moving in the autumn.
Personally though, I'd wait until next spring before any growth starts. When you move it, plant it deep, at least 4 inches as clematis must have their roots protected and in shade.
