I bought this plant last autumn & cannot remember what it was called. When bought it was about 9" tall & I remember the label saying it was a ground covering plant with yellow flowers. It is now 5' tall with white flowers shaped like mini cauliflowers.I am puzzled to what it is.Help please.

I would say it was an Achillea, but which one would need a closer look.

Yes, I'd agree it's an achillea

yes a variety of Achillea milliflora or milliflorum.
it is an 'improved' variety of our wild native plant Yarrow. definitely not a ground cover. suspect the labels got swapped at the gc.
