do u take the heads out of trailing fuchsia

i have planted some trailing fuchsia in hanging baskets and they are growing fresh shoots but should these be taken out to start with to make the young plant spreadout more and does this also apply to petunia as well

pinching the tips will help the fuchsia plants bush out, so yes its not a bad idea. as for the petunias i have never grown them so i dont know if they 'bush' naturally. someone else will know.
