Very windy slot in my garden

We have just fixed a trellis in the garden and looking to buy a hardy climber. The only problem is it is in a very windy location that doesn't get a lot of sun - any ideas please (not ivy)

Clematis cirrhosa 'Freckles' will flower in a shady spot and flowers in winter.Once it has hooked onto a trellis it shouldn't get blown off. Avoid anything too leafy and top heavy as it will rock the trellis in the wind and could blow it over. Or try the chocolate vine, Akebia quinata.
