Have you checked on the right hand side of the page? When you click on 'write in your blog', and it goes to the next page, there's a box over on the right with anything you've drafted and saved in it.

I had your problem with both the saved draft and the plant pics as well. Even Gee, who is a computer whiz, had some sort of a problem too with the plant/pictures issue.
