Bought 3 Penstemons back in the Summer (Spring!), put in two containers. Doing well but no flowers? Should I expect any this year. Also small black spots on some of the leaves - any ideas.

these may well flower this year, but I find they are later [July/August] flowerers anyway.

Sour Grapes did not do well in my garden. Any others planted have survived for years and are in good flower now. Some are at their best a bit later on in the season.
