it looks like an avens, small yellow flowers that then seed prolifically. seeds are redish with slightly hooked ends.

Yes agree with SBG It is called Herb Bennet (Geum Urbanum Rosaceae) or as SBG calls it Avens. These little insignificant plants have so many names and some complicated !
