I have( Horse ChestnutTree)6mts by4mtrs spread approx,i would like to retard its growth .with out pruning or doing major damage to the tree, Is this poss! look forward to your replies. Appleye

I doubt this will be possible without pruning. the root run will be similar to the canopy spread too.

The only way I know would be to severely root prune but I'd probably want expert advice before I did

yes i agree moon grower. although not a giant yet it could cause quite a bit of damage if it toppled.
