Hello, i have an ornamental cherry tree which is normally lovely, this year however after flowering the leaves all died. i thought it had been frost damaged so trimmed back the dead wood and new leaves appeared. these have also died and are full of holes, can't see any pests!

Have they finished dying or is there still some green left? If there is it might be worth spraying with a systemic insecticide as a last ditch attempt to save it - I know lots of folk don't like this but if the there are pests hiding in curled leaves I can't think of any other way of getting at them.

This happened to me. The tree flowered and suddenly all the leaves turned brown. It didn't recover. Having said that mine didn't have holes in the leaves. Is there any sign of bacterial canker at the base?

How do I say thanks?
