Hi Jenfren, no big secret this honeycomb membrane (Nidagravel is one) for gravel was on the TV 'Love your garden' and its available on line and in GC's etc. Seems to be more than one size depending on use?

Thanks, saw it on love your garden, but could not find it on line. That one had a membrane underneath, i could only find ones without, will have a look at Nidagravel

I have seen them without a membrane, but I think much bigger gaps? that was ages ago, I cannot remember what it was used for.

Have tried nidagravel, but Norton security blocked it as a serious virus threat for some reason,so will have a look at GC maybe

Oh well, as you've asked as well, Jenfren, maybe its safe to answer in public.
Nidagravel, Nidaplast, also Natural Paving, are some of the names for this product. Available at most good garden centres which already sell paving and aggregates, and at some larger builder's merchants, best to ring in advance. Be careful you get the right product though - the two I've mentioned come with an integral, bonded on permeable membrane on the bottom - other versions of honeycomb do not have the membrane on the base, they're open. Note that both Nidagravel and Natural Paving need to be laid on prepared screed.

My Norton didnt block them Jen. The size for pathways only is Nidagravel 125
Another company is COREgravel - gravel stabiliser grid with attached GeoTextile membrane that company is also on Amazon.

What would we do without GOY :))))))))))

I never knew gravel was so dangerous it needed to be kept secret or used an antivirous Jen. Your Norton is just blocking an Advert/Spam.

The companies mentioned by DrC are fine for you to browse.

How do I say thanks?
