Viola Propagation

I have been weeding tonight and have noticed that all around the base of my Viola's are lots of baby Viola's. What should I do with them ? Will they grown ? Should I move to pots ? Would be lovely to have some free ones to dot around the garden.

Thanks, so anything really, I suppose I could leave them and then move around when they get bigger to hande ?
It is a Viola sororia Freckles. Very pretty lilac colour with a purple freckle.

What a lovely little viola. Yes I'd let them grow a bit and then move them where you want them. They are enthusiastic self-seeders :-)

Thanks. Silly thing is, I have been pulling them up, thinking how this "weed" is growing like mad. As I haven't weeded for a while, they have got bigger and I noticed the leaf shape was the same.
I am quickly learning something new everyday about gardening, I love it !

With gardening we all keep learning Rubysmum - either that or we're dead.

Leave them to grow on, put in pots or remove - which viola are you referring to?
