Can Clustered Bellflowers be divided?

My clustered Bellflowers are getting too large to be attractive in my small front yard. I was hoping to divide them.

Not sure what you mean by clustered bellflowers - the names you use in America appear different from the ones we use in the UK. However, if you're talking about campanula carpatica or c. muralis, these can be divided after flowering if you keep them watered, but best done in the fall.

might be campanula glomerata and again better to split in the autumn or spring. keep moist until established.
