weak flowering stems on new rose

I bought a Jubilee celebration rose at Rosemoor in the spring and although it has thrived and produced many flowers they are all too heavy for the frail flowering stems and just droop almost to the ground in places. Why could this be?

i suspect the problem will still be there. the flowers are bred for size etc and as a consequence they become top heavy.

the rain will be affecting the flowers. just the extra weight really. you could try staking them.
