We have an Apricot tree grown as an espalier on the south facing wall of our garage. Over the last two seasons the tree has flowered ok and then comes into leaf ok,but all of a sudden the left side of the tree has shrivelled and died off leaving no leaves, stems or fruit. The right side of the tree has developed well and continues to fruit to full term.
There is a slight crack at the top on the left on one branch but this shows no sign of disease can you help any advice will be helpful thanks

Could be a lot of things. Root disturbance, break in the branch or just die back - plants confound us at times. Best thing you can do is add fertiliser and keep it well watered and then try and train branches over to the dead area.
