I bought 3 Filipendula Purpurea f albiflora earlier in the year and they don't seem to be doing so well. They seem to have mildew ( I think). Could anyone tell me what I seem to be doing wrong and should I replant it somewhere else. Its in a west facing border but has got a large beech tree in the border

Never grown fillipendula but always thought they needed permenantly damp soil and semi shade. Maybe it's just too dry for it.
