pratia pedunculata

hi everyone, hope someone can help me, I have just planted pratia blue star in a stone trough, then I read that it is quite invasive. does it self seed, the planter is next to the lawn and the last thing I want is for it to seed into the lawn,( it looks lovely in the planter) thanks

Maybe not ,but it was rampant in our lawn in our last house. Whether that was from seed or bits falling into the grass and rooting, I would not like to say.

It spreads by its spreading roots so should be OK in a trough. Ours is in a dryish, shaded area of the garden and has not spread too much in 10/15 years.
