I have some beautiful gazanias which are FINALLY starting to flower. Unfortunately the leaves are turning white due to something 'eating' its way beneath the surface of the leaf and 'eating'all the chlorophyll. You can actually see the 'trails' in the leaves. These plants are obviously not going to survive as the leaves are further attacked and the plant is unable to photosynthesise. What can I do?

these are leaf miners. pick off the affected leaves. the flowers also photosynthesis as do the stems so the plants wont die.
