Hi Bamboo, would you please be kind enough to advise me on some creeping plants that would be good in the narrow gaps between paving slabs on my south facing patio. also you say you are semi retired, what is semi retired. Appreciated barmyphil.

Thyme, Sedum, Campanula cochlearifolia would all grow in between paving slabs.
