Just what IS the name of this Daisy like flower,I've had it a number of years and keep getting asked it's just come into flower.I bought it off a plant stall and it didn't have a name.Is it an Innula, thats the nearest look-a-like in a book?

If its only about 2 feet high and not up to 6 feet, most likely its Inula royleana

I wondered about Doronicum oriental (Leopards Bane). This flowers in spring and would be finished now.

Agree with Bamboo, it is the image of the ones we have which have just begun flowering.

Definitely an inula and probably I. orientalis

Had another look and I reckon it is more like I. hookeri than I. orientalis. The colour (if true) is greeny-yellow to me whereas I. orientalis has orange-yellow flowers.
