Hazel horror: if anyone has read my previous post today they will have noticed the dreaded hazel lurking in my long-neglected flowerbeds. I yank them out when I see them but some have grown so big I can't (old age creeps on...) If I keep chopping back will this only make things worse? Can I selectively kill them? (some are in rock garden with 'dry-stone' walls so hard to shift).

God bless squirrels, eh? I have a lovely population of red squirrels in my oak trees, BUT...

Thanks for help as always!

Bonsoir mon cher. The only selective way to kill plants is to paint weedkiller onot the leaves of offending plants. It does work.
