If you do find any you like in a park or a garden centre or even on the internet, try ebay if you are a budget, some sellers are very good and have a great selection. I have 3 at the moment, a phyllistachys nigra which is the black bamboo which I would recommend, Sasa 'Tessellata' and Chusquea culeou -Graceful Evergreen Bamboo. The seller on ebay is gardenexpert3uv2. My plants are very healthy and in good condition, they are in pots waiting their final resting place. Rushes are also very nice to plant with bamboo, Chondropetalum Elephantinum and Rhodocoma Capensis, South African Restio Grass are reasonably hardy in the country, have a look on google images at my suggestions.

I am a very sensitive guy. Abought the picture question. I just wanted positive answers not answers that were negative like the man who said you can`t use mine because i am writing a book, and the pictures will be copyrighted. I am not interested in his book or pictures he can send them to Mars as far as i am concerned. Last year i contacted Collins and the lady replied yes, you can use any photographs you want, as long as they are not passed to a third party. The lady also said it`s good of you to ask it shows you are honest and wished me well on my project

I have looked at another question you have asked about using people's pictures. I think the guy who is writing the book must have sent you a private message because I can't find anything that has a negative vibe. Even so, the book guy may have just said that because it would have been his publishers who would have sued you for using printed material without the permission of the owner - copyright.

To the person who said i mentioned the word offensive, it was the word negative i used, totally different meaning. To the person who was confused, like one member said, yes you can use my photographs, is that simple enough, thats all i wanted.

You could always go to a garden centre and pick out the ones you want - you can't beat being physically there!
