Unknown Asteraceae
This came to me as Cremanthodium arnicoides which it definitely is not. It grows to about 5 feet tall, flowers now. Do not think it is Inula magnifica as the flower petals are not really narrow enough.
The leaves are a good 3 feet long as you can see, rough on the top but much softer and silvery underneath.
Anyone any ideas?

Save you the bother, now been told it is probably Inula helenium. Elecampine.
