hi tried to grow virginia creeper in a pot for last two seasons didnt really get started and has finally rotted away any tips for growing them thanks in advance

They won't do well in a pot, they need to be planted in the ground, if thats possible. But beware they are very vigorous and will soon cover what they are planted against.
