If you threw wallflower seeds on prepared soil now would they grow and have colour for Autumn if not any suggestions what would?

Wallflowers wont flower until next spring. ive sown some direct into a seedbed and they are just germinating now but will be transplanted in autumn.
You could try pansy, i sown some a week ago and they are potted into their own cells already should flower oct time.
