We have been growing this shrub for about 6 years now, it has never flowered on the label it reads Halimium ocymoides, pretty sure it is not!!
To keep it in shape we prune it most years, the leaves are small, and the back of the leaves are silvery and have a silky feel, also very aromatic when crushed, wondered if it might be an unusual Myrtle, has anyone any ideas please?

Pam we left it two years and nothing appeared, just a huge amount of growth, we just want to know what it is, not really too bothered about flowers, because it looks very nice clipped.......as if it ought to be clipped....

I just clipped one this morning because of the large amount of growth. I don't know what they call it but it does flower every year. Having said that I don't remember seeing any spent flowers today.

What a nice shrub. Re no flowers, are you pruning off the flowering stems at the wrong time? Leave it alone for a whole season and see what happens, some shrubs flower on last years new growth.
