My ornamental cherry tree, a graft, has many diseased leaves which are gnarled and have bright red blisters. Astonishingly, I cannot find a picture of this affliction anywhere on the web. What does it suffer from and can it be cured? For 3 years now I've been removing the afflicted leaves, but it keeps reappearing. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Julien, you are absolutely correct! Thanks a million!
I was prepared to remove the tree. Glad I didn't.

It looks like peach leaf curl which does affect ornamental cherries, spray with a fungicide, i find some seasons can be worse than others.
