Erysimum used to be called perennial wallflower, as opposed to cheiranthus which referred to the biennial wallflower, but this is now included in erysimum,{wish they wouldn,t keep changing things lol}, but whichever they are if they,re big enough they can be planted out now, Derek.

I take it we're talking about biennial wallflowers here? I have some seedlings that are doing well, and they will be planted out in October. Apparently it helps if you tear off the bottom of the rootball before transplanting as it shocks the plant into more vigorous growth, otherwise they can come to a full stop, thinking they have run out of space, and don't bother to start up again.
