what is eating my cosmos? I can't post any pics yet by the looks of it but there seems to be two different things. one causes very small holes in the leaves and others take off the leaves! I can never find anything on them though!

That might be the pesky snails and slugs that eat mine every year Gerberav. They always hide during the day and eat everything in site at night!!

for once it's not snails! no slimy trails and the holes are far to small anyway, about a mm or two in size... mystery lol

Indeed a mystery !

Flea beetles for the holes, maybe? Some of the smaller looper caterpillars could also make such holes when young, and then graduate to whole leaves. Go out tonight with a flashlight to see if you can catch the culprit in the act.
