i have grown some dalias in tubs will i need to take out of tubs to dry off or will they be ok inside over winter ??

Always remove them from the tubs. Cut the stem about 2 inches above the crown.Then clean the tuber with water...I use a hosepipe spray gun. Cut off all the very thin roots. Dry off in a cool place for a few days, then store in boxes/trays in dry peat/compost, with the tuber buried up to the crown, in a room that doesn't get frosty but doesn't go above 50'f.
