I have just ordered Helleborus plants off the internet has anybody had any dealings with them they sound and look like a lovely winter pant

I've got some seeds you can have but I don't know whether they can be grown from seed. If you can find out, you're welcome to some.

Hellebors are generally very nice plants, though some can be rather large and boisterous. I would guess that you have bought some Helleborus orientalis hybrids which are very colouful plants. They do set a lot of seed which germinate readily so be prepared to snip off the seedheads before they ripen. Hellebors like partial shade and a humus rich soil.

Thanks for your replys ive bought double Ellen hellibours
but another problem ive noticed tonight my rose bush wich is a climbing Ena Harkness some of the small leaves are curling & going brown any ideas ?

Well, at least, if your Hellebores are doubles then you will not be troubled with seedlings, they do not make seed.
Cannot help on Roses, I pour weedkiller on them, cures all their nasty problems.

Which onres have you ordered. I dug mine up, as I got the invasive type and they spread everywhere.
