I have fargesia murielae in pots however the leaves are starting to go brown, we were on holiday for two weeks so I'm not sure if it's lack of water/feed or if they may need bigger pots. Pots they are in currently are about 40cm square - any ideas?

Fargesia murielae need moist soil- so it sounds like they need lots of water. There would be no harm in putting a pot saucer under the pots to make sure it stays moist.

If they've been in the same pots for a while, it might be time to turf them out, split the root balls and repot 2 sections into the same pots, giving them a good soak afterwards.. Either that or larger pots. If the roots have filled the pot, then they need a lot more watering because the ratio of root to soil isn't right, so there's nothing to hold onto water for any length of time.
